$307 Million to Speed Freeway Projects

Valley commuters and Arizona travelers could get some relief from congested freeways a few years sooner than scheduled under a new $307 million fund created by the state Legislature.
The appropriation, called the Statewide Transportation Acceleration Needs account, or STAN, could push ahead major construction projects by as much as 15 years to cope with booming growth in the Phoenix area and around the state. Complete Story Here.
