Full Description:

The City of Goodyear is now accepting applications for its Special Events Sponsorship Program. The program provides direct monetary grants and indirect in-kind services primarily to agencies/organizers that hold festival-type events. If an event is not physically in the City, it should be well attended by residents of Goodyear to qualify for funding. The City takes many event factors – both tangible and intangible - into consideration when judging the value of its sponsorship. Some of the key criteria are:
Is the event in the City of Goodyear?
Is it attended by a large number of Goodyear residents if not located within the City?
Will the residents receive substantial benefit from the sponsorship?
Will the City receive a good return on its investment/good value and publicity for the money?
How much does the sponsorship cost per attendee?
Is this an established event and a growing one?
