We are only satisfied with Schlotzsky's signature Fresh-from-Scratch® buns which give our sandwiches, like The Original™ sandwich, the taste people have craved for 35 years. Frozen may be an okay way to order your margarita, but it's not your first order of making good bread. At Schlotzsky's, real bakers get up really early and mix up from scratch our secret Schlotzsky's recipe. We hand-make our buns, watch them with a careful eye until they bake to perfection, then tenderly remove them from our special ovens and cure them for the proper length of time. And we do it every single morning. Then and only then does a bun deserve to be called Fresh-from-Scratch®. And then and only then does it get to be served up with all the unique and delectable flavor combinations that continue to make Schlotzsky's famous.
